City responding to tree debris due to storm
City crews were mobilized beginning at 2 a.m. on July 18 and have responded to more than 100 service requests throughout the city. Crews focused on clearing debris from streets that were blocked, or partially blocked, and as of 6 p.m. on July 18, all streets are now safely passable . (Source)

Shoreview man who sexually assaulted St. Paul girl, 15, gets 5 years
A Shoreview man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in an attempt to force her to marry him is headed to prison. Ramsey County District Judge Jeffrey Bryan sentenced him Thursday to five years in prison, with credit for time served. (Source)
