Tornado reported in Walworth County

WALWORTH COUNTY – Much of southeast Wisconsin was under a tornado warning Saturday afternoon. Walworth County off County Road M was the scene of a barn that was completely uprooted from the ground, and a two by four from it was thrown across the field into a parked SUV where it crushed all the windows. The Walworth County sheriffs office suspects this could be the work of a microburst . No one was hurt but there sure is a lot to clean up. The barn is a total loss. Debris is scattered everywhere. The storms came in fast and furious Saturday with heavy rain and a lot of lightning. There were two fires in New Berlin and in Franklin, unclear whether they were due to lightning strikes.A representative of the National Weather Service is expected out here to determine whether this was a tornado or not.
